The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) on Wednesday, January 13, issued a statement after two separate incidences of students attacking teachers were reported.

The incidents happened in Kisii and Nyamira involving students from Kisii School and Mokwerero Secondary School, who attacked their teachers, injuring them.

The commission condemned the attacks on teachers and asked Kenyans to play a role in mentoring students across the country.
“TSC regrets the recent attacks on our teachers by learners in Kisii, and the attempted attack by another student in Mokwerero Sec School in Nyamira County.
