The Teachers Service Commission has this morning announced changes that will be effected immediately across several schools in Central Kenya region as far as the reports we have are concerned.
The changes come as schools have just gotten back from the midterm break and the end of the first term first approaching as schools are set close on the 1st of July 2022.
According to reliable reports from The Standard Newspaper this morning, Alliance High School has gotten a new Principal following the transfers that have been effected by the Teachers Service Commission as communicated.
Mr. Kamau Chomba, who was the Principal of Njiiri High School, has been transferred to take charge of the prestigious Alliance High School in Kiambu County.
Mr. Gerrison Mwangi on the other hand, takes over at Njiiri High School after being in charge of Kiaguthu Boys High School since the year 2016.
Mr. Kagema Kibue who was the Principal of Karega Mixed Day Secondary School found in Kigumo, Murang’a County, takes over charge at Kiaguthu Boys High School.
Stephen Muburu, on the other hand, has been promoted by the Teachers Service Commision and will now be the new Principal of Karega Mixed Day Secondary School in Kigumo.
Speaking yesterday, Mwangi said he had worked with the stakeholders to improve the school’s performance leading to a high number of students qualifying for university admission in the last six years.
“I have worked with several institutions and all geared towards better returns at the national level,” said Mwangi on the day he started his tour of duty at Njiiri.
Kagema said he was delighted to be at Kiaguthu High where he promised to work with all stakeholders to improve performance.
“The issue is to work hand in hand with stakeholders for the interest of the students,” said Kagema.
At Karega, the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) promoted Stephen Mburu, a former teacher at St Mary Lioki in Kiambu, to replace Kagema.
