The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), is a state cooperation under the ministry of Health entrusted with the role of training the various health disciplines in the health sector, to serve the local, regional and international markets. There are 71 campuses strategically located in various parts of the country. Here are the best campuses to enroll in as a student;

1. KMTC Nairobi campus
It was started in 1927 with four students at the Kenya Institute of Administration (KIA). It offers 19 programs and courses. The campus has a population of 4200 students undertaking Certificate, Diploma and Higher Diploma in the various courses offered by the campus.

2. KMTC Kisumu campus
KMTC Kisumu campus is located in Kondele area next to Jaramogi Oginga Technical and Referral Hospital on Kisumu-Kakamega road approximately two kilometers from Kisumu town. The current number of students is 1052 with the number expected to increase in the next intake.

3. KMTC Nakuru campus
The campus is situated in a serene environment along Crescent road, Milimani Estate, about one kilometer north of Nakuru town. It has a well-equipped library that can accommodate up to 300 students. The student population is currently at 1,530.

4. KMTC Karen campus
KMTC Karen campus is a “Centre of excellence” in training Nutrition and Dietetic courses. It is situated in Karen, about 22 kilometers from Nairobi city. Karen campus was established in 1965. The current student population in the campus is 530, with this number expected to rise in the next intake.

5. KMTC Mombasa campus
This campus was founded in the year 1948 and is located in Tononoka Mzizima Island in Mombasa. With a student population of 1200 students, the campus is doing well in training its students.

6. KMTC Thika campus
Adjacent to Thika level five Hospital within Thika sub-county in Kiambu County. It was started in 1969 and is currently with a student population of 840.

7. KMTC Kisii campus
KMTC Kisii campus is situated along Kisii Hospital Road and is adjacent to the Kisii county Teaching and Referral Hospital. It was started in 1958 and the student population currently stands at 961.

8. KMTC Nyeri campus.
With the student population currently at 920 students, Nyeri university is an exceptional campus with the necessary facilities for it students.

9. KMTC Machakos campus
Located along the Machakos-Wote road next to Machakos level 5 Hospital and about 500 meters from Machakos bus-park.

10. KMTC Embu campus
It started in 1975 by missionaries as a Health Training College. With over 750 students, Embu University is a really good learning institution.
