The schools officially closed yesterday 23rd Dec for the second term.Third term begins on 3rd of January 2022. The learners are expected to sit for five exams as revealed by the education Cabinet secretary Prof George Magoha.
He also noted that the exams will go in as scheduled and that the learners should prepare well to avoid being caught with anxiety.
However, the government yesterday announced tough measures for those who haven’t received covid-19 Certificate. The health chief administrative secretary Mercy Mwangangi revealed said that the government was putting down its foot on vaccination.
Consequently, proof of vaccination will be required in all organized events and public service vehicles., theatres, clubs restaurants, beaches among others.
This means that before reopening, teachers will be required to avail their Certificate before attending to learners. Even those who wish to act as Exam supervisors should prepare in advance before being caught up with time.
The health sector has already cautioned Kenyans to prepare for the outbreak of the sixth wave of covid-19.
We urge all teachers to take covid-19 vaccine so that they won’t denied accessing government services.
