Earlier today the 18th of July there was drama in the Western Region after Police tried to scuttle a meeting that was arranged by members allied to TangaTanga movement in Vihiga.

Hamisi Member of Parliament Hon. Charles Gemose had planned and arranged a meeting where political leaders who are allied to Deputy President William Ruto were scheduled to attend.

Former Kakamega Senator who was once a fierce critic of the Deputy President William Ruto brought things to a stand-still, when he decided to engage the police in running battles so as to leave them and go with their meeting as planned.

Through a video that resurfaced online where its revealed that the former Kakamega senator Boni Khalwale happened to throw water on Hamisi OCPD Johana Chebii before running for his life as the police chased after him.

In the recent past  political leaders from the western region who are allied to  DP William Ruto have been at war with police as most of their meetings have been disrupted.

There has been increased political activity in the Western region over new re-alignments in the political scenes.

A group of leaders have decided to throw their weight behind President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM party leader Raila Odinga.

This, however, has not been received well with Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula who believe they are the kingpin in the Western Region.

This has brought about unwarranted wars within Ford Kenya party where there was an attempted coup by leaders allied to President Uhuru Kenyatta and COTU SG Francis Atwoli.

It is reported that ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula are open to the idea of working with Deputy President William Ruto if he supports their Presidential bid.

President Uhuru Kenyatta offered Musalia Mudavadi some political lifeline by lining his nominees in the looming cabinet reshuffles but he turned down claiming that he cannot sleep with the government.
