HELB is pleased to invite applications for second and subsequent undergraduate loans for 2020-2021 financial year from Kenyan students admitted in Govenment of Kenya sponsored or self sponsored programmes in public and private universities in Kenya and East African Community that are recognized by the commission for university education.

Eligible students

-Recent beneficiaries of the undergraduate loan.

-Students placed by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Placement service(KUCCPS) in local public or private universities.

-Bachelors degree, self sponsered, parrallel and module 2 students.

How to apply

1.Applicants should visit the google playstore and download the HELB mobile application.

2.Register your details I.e first name , phone number, national id number, KRA pin number  on the app.

3.Read the mandatory financial literacy notes and undertake a brief Questions and Answers to appreaciate  the purpose of credit.

4.Click on the loans and select the undergraduate loans to get the 2020-2021 undergraduate subsequent loan application form.

5.Follow each steps to fill required deatils appropriately and submit.

Requirements

You will be required to pay ksh.1 from your M-PESA account during the application process to verify your name .

NB/ The M-PESA name has to match with that on the KRA taxpayers name.

Students who are not  SAFARICOM subscribers  will be directed to the portal  and apply using the application form  after which they will be required  to print and submit the forms to the HELB student service centre  on mezzanine 1st floor Anniversarry Towers.

NB/please ensure you read and understand the instructions provided at the beggining of the online application and undertaking the HELB financial literacy program.

Deadline

The deadline for application is 30th June 2020

8.The two types of expenses which one can use to cater for using the loan.
