There are many other courses in campus that you could study apart from your major. This will increase your ability to grasp more content easily. Furthermore, it would come in handy later in future when you are looking for a job.
2. Join clubs and societies
Joining clubs and societies can help you grow in so many ways as a person. You will be able to interact with people and build better relations as a club. It will also help boost your confidence as your fellows help you overcome various situations.
3. Learn foreign languages.
Learning a new language is so much fun and of so much importance. This has so many advantages to a student. One of this advantages is that it will increase chances of employment as it indicates how much of a go getter one is. It could also improve the chances of one getting employed in different parts of the world.
4. Interact with people
Allow yourself to meet new people and interact with them. Find out more about their culture, religion and beliefs. This will improve your friendliness and will for sure come in handy later in future when working.
5. Nurture your talent.
If you have the ability to do anything, this is the time you would want to explore yourself and your talent. Who knows, you might end up making a living out of it.

Find a way to legally make money for yourself to avoid depending fully on your parents. Teaching yourself how to work and correlate in a working environment will prepare you for the future.

Run for various seats in school. Try and be a leader in one way or another. This will sharpen your leadership skills in preparation for the future.

Go out and find yourself friends, and not just any friends, find good friends. The kind of people who you choose to hang with will affect your choices in one way or the other. Find yourself good friends who will impact your future in the best way possible.
9. Participate in community work.
Volunteer in several community projects, help the elderly and visit children’s homes. By doing this, you will gain many important qualities like patience which is very important in all life situations.

Student exchange programs will give you a chance to travel the world and learn different things. Find out if your school offers such programs and join in.
